The following warranty conditions apply to computers, laptops, monitors, workstations & mini PCs that you purchase from our online shop at www.gruber-buerotechnik.de . Our warranty conditions include the following points:

Legal Rights

Your statutory rights in the event of defects remain unaffected and can still be exercised free of charge. The guarantee supplements these rights and does not restrict them.

The guarantee is valid exclusively within the European Union.

warranty period

  • STANDARD warranty: 12 months at no extra charge
  • GOLD guarantee : 24 months. Extension of the guarantee period for an additional charge, valid from the date of conclusion of the purchase contract.
  • PLATINUM guarantee: 36 months. Extension of the guarantee period for an additional charge, valid from the date of conclusion of the purchase contract.

    Warranty services already provided do not extend the warranty period.

Costs of the optional GOLD & PLATINUM guarantee

The cost of the optional PLATINUM guarantee including VAT varies depending on the device. It can only be taken out when the device is purchased. Retroactive guarantees are not possible.

Warranty conditions – subject and scope

subject of the guarantee

Our warranty covers the functionality of all technical components of devices purchased through the following channels:

The guarantee applies to material and construction defects as well as resulting hardware malfunctions.

Exceptions to the guarantee

The guarantee does not cover defects that are caused by:

  • Software installed after purchase
  • Improper interventions or operating errors
  • Improper handling and liquid damage (e.g. from soft drinks, water, coffee)
  • Weather conditions, natural disasters, lightning, fire, water, riots or power surges
  • Electrical defects caused by non-approved chargers
  • Fall damage and normal wear and tear (e.g. signs of wear on the housing/display)
  • Aggressive environmental influences, chemicals or cleaning agents
  • Damage to consumables and wearing parts (e.g. batteries, memory cards, displays, glass)

Legal Rights

Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected. You can contact us at any time if there are any defects, regardless of whether a warranty claim is made.

scope of the guarantee

The guarantee is provided in one of the following forms:

  • Free repair
  • Free delivery of a replacement device

The decision on the form of warranty service rests with us as the guarantor. If neither repair nor replacement is possible, we will refund the current value of the device.

Not included:
Costs for assembly or dismantling of the defective part/product as well as shipping by third parties without our parcel label.

Shipping in case of warranty claim

  • Devices that can be sent as a parcel: You will receive a free parcel label.
  • Devices that cannot be shipped as a parcel: We will commission a freight forwarder to collect the device; the device must be prepared for shipping.

Replaced parts or replacement devices become our property.

Please send us the following documents to service@gruber-buerotechnik.de :

  1. invoice number and, if applicable, order number
  2. name, current address and telephone number
  3. Description of the defect with pictures or detailed information (e.g. component number)

Important note on data backup

Please back up your data regularly. We accept no liability for data loss as a result of a defect or during repairs.
